Falmouth - Cape Cod, MA

 

Everyone has their favorite Cape Cod town.  If you've never been, it can be a bit overwhelming choosing a destination.  And if youre coming from NYC, it can take nearly four hours just to reach the start of the cape.  So start with Falmouth!  A delightful town and a fraction of the distance to Provincetown.  It has everything a New England beach town should have, and more.

Lodging comes in all shapes and sizes in Falmouth and would greatly depend on your length of stay.  I personally prefer renting a house, whether for a week or a month (homeaway.com, vrbo.com) or by the night (airbnb.com). It requires a bit more effort, but can be cost effective and would suit anyone bringing their dogs, kids, bikes, etc.  If you're looking for a hassle free, romantic, very little planning involved, jaunt to the cape, there are a plethora of hotels to chose from.  Here are just a few to get you started!
